The Balearic Islands Port Authority (APB) has been ranked for the first time as the most transparent port authority in Spain, leading the ranking prepared by Dyntra and consolidating itself as a national model in open governance, access to information and accountability.
This recognition culminates more than two years of work aimed at strengthening institutional transparency, digitalisation, accessibility of public information and the implementation of new standards of good and open governance. Among the main advances driven by the APB is the launch of its new Transparency Portal, conceived as a key tool to facilitate public access to the entity's institutional, economic, contractual and organisational information.
The portal brings together in a structured and accessible way information on public procurement, institutional organisation, planning, economic indicators, regulations, agreements, statistics and open data, reinforcing the capacity for consultation and traceability by citizens, companies and stakeholders.
According to the latest data published by Dyntra, an international platform that specialises in evaluating the transparency of public entities, the APB achieves an 81.6% overall compliance rate. the highest score in Spain’s port system. This reflects an institutional strategy based on openness, modernisation, and continuous improvement of public management.

One of the most outstanding results is in the area of Transparency in the contracting of services, works and supplies, where the APB achieves 100% compliance in all the indicators evaluated. This result is due, among other measures, to the implementation of a proprietary public procurement viewer developed by the institution and updated daily through a direct connection with the State Procurement Platform.
The tool allows real-time consultation of files, tenders, awards and formalised contracts, offering a level of detail that not only fully complies with current legal requirements, but also expands the information available to reinforce traceability, understanding and public control of procedures.
The results obtained by the APB also stand out in other strategic areas: 93.75% in Communication, Electronic Administration and Open Data, 82.35% in Citizen Participation and Collaboration and the Right of Access to Information, 81.82% in Port Planning and Public Works and 77.78% in Economic and Financial Transparency.
The Dyntra platform analyses more than one hundred indicators related to institutional transparency, public communication, citizen participation and access to information, establishing itself as one of the leading international benchmarks in open governance evaluation.
The Balearic Islands Port Authority continues to move ahead in this direction through the continuous improvement of its Transparency Portal and the promotion of new digital tools aimed at strengthening accountability, institutional ethics, integrity, the relationship with stakeholders and an increasingly open, accessible and transparent public management.
