The Port Authority of the Balearic Islands (APB) will allocate 97,000 euros to the disinfection of the six maritime stations of the port of Palma. The actions will consist of 214 aerial disinfections over a period of six months by cold fogging in common areas, on surfaces likely to be touched such as benches, handrails, knobs, counters, toilets and lifts. These works will be planned according to the weekly schedules of vessel arrivals and departures.
The work, which will take an estimated 90 to 150 minutes, will not interfere with the operation of the port and will preferably be carried out at night, using extraction installations for air renewal.
